101 Problems that Mentoring Solves - Get Involved

We've been working on 'taking the mentoring out of mentoring'?  Huh?  What we mean is that for a long time the focus has been on mentoring alone - rather than embedding mentoring as a strong platform for your organisation and therefore, talking about the results of mentoring. So, we've started a list of 101 Problems that Mentoring Solves and we'd love you to get involved.

Here's the list to date: http://www.australianmentorcentre.com.au/101+Problems+Mentoring+Solves

If you'd like to make a contribution to the list, simply email gilly@australianmentorcentre.com.au and when the list is finished, you'll be the on the receiving end of a 'pretty' PDF document with the complete list.

FREE Ask a Mentoring Question - Two Spaces this Month

At the end of 2010, we did a 'test run' of offering a FREE Ask a Mentoring Question service.  It's back this month!  We'll take two questions (first in) and answer them in detail.  We'll then share the results in the coming months via our blog.  What's the catch you ask?  Nothing - we'll answer your mentoring questions as if you were a client - so that means that your answer will be detailed and designed to really help you out.

To ask your mentoring question - drop Gilly a line to gilly@australianmentorcentre.com.au.

Evaluation and Validation in Mentoring - Recent Blog Post

Do you know the difference between evaluation and validation in respect of a mentoring program?  A good mentoring program should have both - read more about this interesting aspect of measuring the results of your mentoring program at this recent blog post: www.australianmentorcentre.com.au/Evaluation-Validation

Daily Mentoring Bytes Twitter - Join In!

Late in 2010, we joined the Twitter revolution.  But you won't find our tweets telling you what we had for breakfast!  We've designed our Daily Mentoring Bytes Twitter account to provide ideas, resources, links and information for mentees, mentors and partnerships - with the odd bit of advice thrown in for program coordinators.  Plus - every 150-200 tweets, we create a downloadable PDF so that you can access the information you may have missed.

Thanks for reading everyone!

Yours in mentoring

Gilly Johnson, Director & Founder
