Mentoring Education

Our belief is that mentoring activities and partnerships can be greatly enhanced through education.

One definition of education on Google says that: ‘Education encompasses teaching and learning specific skills, and also something less tangible but more profound: the imparting of knowledge, good judgement and wisdom. Education has as one of its fundamental goals the imparting of culture from generation to generation.’

The aim of all of our education activities is to impart knowledge, good judgement and wisdom in relation to healthy and safe mentoring practices. We offer a range of education activities for mentors, mentees and organisations.

Our education programs include:

  • Introduction to mentoring
  • Mentoring for mentees
  • Mentoring for mentors
  • Mentoring for partnerships
  • Ongoing education during the partnership
  • Manager and supervisor briefing
  • Introduction to mentoring groups and circles
  • Mentoring program coordinator training.

Our education can be delivered in either face-to-face (F2F) mode or via our online education portal. Most often, our education programs form part of the broader workplace mentoring services package that we provide for you.

Our education activities are conducted on the basis of evidence. What this means is that extensive research has gone into the content of our education activities, and in some cases, are offered in line with a Unit of Competency from the Australian Qualifications Training Framework. In addition, we are able to tailor an education package to suit your specific needs.
