Mentoring Program Health Check
Like all people development initiatives, mentoring programs also benefit from an independent review to ensure they are meeting the needs of the organisation and the target audience, and are adhering to good practice in workplace mentoring.
The Australian Mentor Centre is the current Chair of the international board for the International Standards for Mentoring Programmes in Employment (ISMPE). As part of this role and to provide Australian organisations with up to date information regarding how ISMPE can benefit your existing and proposed mentoring programs, we are offering a new mentoring program review service.
We recognise that many organisations are already running mentoring programs and that what you need is an independent review of the performance of your program, and guidance on where and how you can strengthen your mentoring program for the future. Our Mentoring Program Health Check provides you with this service.
Our Mentoring Program Health Check is a robust review of your mentoring activities which includes:
- Consultancy meeting with the Mentoring Program key staff (eg. Sponsor, Champions, Coordinator)
- Literature and document review
- Interviews with participants and other identified stakeholders (eg. Line Managers)
- Extensive report with guidance and recommendations.
Contact the Australian Mentor Centre today for a quote and to find out how this new service can help your mentoring program to achieve the best possible outcomes for the organisation and individuals involved.
Note: This service is NOT a formal benchmark against the ISMPE, but guidance is provided as part of the report and recommendations on how to submit your program for formal assessment and benchmarking against ISMPE, which can be conducted by the Australian Mentor Centre in Australia.
